Tessa Peterson, LMSW

Tessa graduated with her MSW from Boise State University after completing her Bachelor of Social Work at Brigham Young University – Idaho. Her professional career has exposed her to many different modalities that she feels comfortable employing in ser sessions. Currently Tessa works in the school-based program with kids in grades K-12, in addition to running the teen DBT group.

She chose to focus on behavioral health because she enjoys helping people to see their worth as they are, in the moment, without any strings attached. She uses her expertise to help her patients validate lived experiences, gain skills like emotional regulation, or applying modalities to help with trauma. She is passionate about helping others to feel heard, valued, and respected.

Tessa has four young kids that keep her on her toes! She loves exploring the great outdoors and making lasting memories through travel with her family.
