Larry Bradley, LCSW, joined the Grand Peaks Team as the Director of Behavioral and Mental Health Services in fall of 2017. With his arrival, Grand Peaks was able to open the St. Anthony behavioral health clinic and offer mental health services. Prior to joining Grand Peaks, Larry provided a wide array of mental health services for area treatment facilities, state contractors and Health and Welfare divisions. Not only is Larry experienced, he also speaks Spanish as his second language.
Larry gained 11 years of experience in diagnosis and treatment of behavioral health conditions, individual and family counseling, and has worked with victims of trauma as well as persons with self-harming behaviors. He also has experience providing substance use disorder treatment. His therapy model is a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Larry is from a military family and spent most of his childhood in Asia and the Pacific Islands but returned to Mountain Home, Idaho, where he graduated from high school. Currently he and his family reside just outside of St. Anthony. After obtaining his Bachelors Degree in Sociology, he attended Walla Walla College to complete his Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2006.
“I believe in the proper assessment, diagnosis, and delivery of medically necessary treatment services to improve patient’s lives,” Larry states, and he looks forward to bringing behavioral health wellness services to the northern upper valley community.
Grand Peaks is proud to be offering Mental and Behavioral Health Services, directed by Larry Bradley.
