Jason Hansen was born and raised in Idaho, where he currently resides. After completing his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University-Idaho, he obtained his doctorate of pharmacy from Idaho State University.
As an undergraduate student, Jason worked as a technician and then as a pharmacy intern for Walmart in Rexburg. His first job after graduating was at Rite Aid, and in the following years, he went on to work for several other pharmacies throughout Idaho. He has been a part of the Grand Peaks team since April 2024.
In high school, Jason took a health occupations class that ignited his interest in pharmacy. He always enjoyed health sciences and chemistry, and pharmacy seemed like the perfect fit. He is a people person who finds satisfaction in helping patients get what they need. He strongly encourages patients to be bold and ask pharmacists about their medications, as they are eager to help.
Outside of work, Jason prefers spending time outdoors gardening, landscaping, hunting, fishing, or hiking with his family.
