Dustin Stacey is originally from Idaho Falls and has chosen to live in-state throughout the years. In 2013, he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology with an emphasis in biomedical science at Idaho State University. Afterward, he received his Pharm-D degree from Idaho State University.
After graduating in 2017, Dustin took his first job as a pharmacist with Safeway/Albertson’s in Grand Junction, Colorado. He lived there for two years and loved Colorado, but ultimately, his heart was elsewhere. He took a job at Safeway Market Pharmacy in Salmon, Idaho and worked there for two years before accepting a position as the pharmacy manager at Walmart in Rexburg. In May 2024, Dustin joined the Grand Peaks team in Idaho Falls.
Dustin has always enjoyed helping others, especially when it comes to their health. One of his greatest passions is learning about medications and how they work, but more importantly, educating others about the medicines they are taking. He finds it very satisfying to “demystify” drugs and share how they work with the general public.
Dustin renounces the idea of a bad question and encourages patients to speak up when they need clarification. He believes the more patients understand about their health, the greater their chance of making wise decisions to improve their well-being.
Outside of work, Dustin loves visiting new places, seeing new things, and trying new foods with his wife and children. When he gets the chance, he enjoys camping or fishing outdoors.
