Dr. Julian was born in Omaha, Nebraska but grew up in various locations throughout the United States and Europe. When his father retired from the military he eventually called Salt Lake City, Utah home. What drew him to medicine was his experiences living in a 3rd world country and witnessing the consequences a lack of basic medical care has on a community. Dr. Julian has always enjoyed the dry climate, mountains, and national parks of the Rocky Mountains. He was drawn to Idaho due to its ideal location, weather, community and proximity to his family. Dr. Julian is a board certified Family Medicine Physician. He attended medical school at A.T. Still School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. He went on to complete his residency at the University of Central Florida’s Family Medicine program in Ocala, Florida. During that time, Dr. Julian’s training was primary focused on community based hospital medicine and treating underserved populations in his outpatient clinic. His undergraduate training in exercise and nutrition science greatly influences his approach in treating patients. When Dr. Julian is not seeing patients, he can be found hiking, traveling, gardening and spending time with his friends and family.
