Dan Squire, PA-C

Daniel Squire is a dedicated physician assistant with a robust educational background, holding a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from BYU-Idaho.

His professional journey began at Madison Memorial Hospital, where he worked as a phlebotomist while completing his undergraduate studies. After receiving his medical training at the ISU physician assistant program, Daniel has spent the past six years providing family medicine and urgent care services in southwest Idaho. He has a particular passion for mental health care and opioid addiction treatment.

Fluent in Spanish, Daniel learned the language while serving a church mission in Santiago, Chile. He further enhanced his skills by completing the ISU graduate certificate in Spanish for Health Professions as a Hispanic Health Track scholar, allowing him to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population. An estimated 30-50% of his daily patient encounters are conducted in Spanish.

Originally from northeast Ohio, Daniel enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and camping with his wife and four children outside of work. His commitment to the medical field stems from the fulfillment he finds in helping others with their health and building lasting relationships of trust with his patients. His previous experiences at the BYU-Idaho computer help desk, along with shadowing and volunteering in various healthcare roles, solidified his decision to become a physician assistant.

Daniel remains passionate about expanding his knowledge and making a positive impact on his patients and community. He encourages his patients to “enjoy life with those around you while trying to be a little better every day.
