Brittaini Milner, LMSW, joined the Grand Peaks Behavioral Health and Wellness team in late summer of 2019. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Northwest Nazarene University and passed the Idaho Licensure Exam in 2018 to become a Licensed Master Social Worker. Brittaini has been involved in the mental health capacity for many years including Case Management and PSR services since 2008, and has worked in several capacities for mental health agencies in the area. She has taught mental health support groups (Towards No Drug Abuse and Life Skills), at several of the alternative schools, and has been a domestic violence and sexual assault advocate for Southeast Idaho for the past 12 years.
Brittaini has experience working with all age-groups from all populations as well as experience with an broad range of mental health conditions. She particularly enjoys working with children and adolescents. She uses a variety of different modalities including, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Play Therapy. She has used these modalities to help individuals who have experienced trauma (both child and adult), anxiety, depression, divorce, ADHD, schizophrenia, bi-polar, substance abuse, and trichotillomania.
Brittaini grew up in Aurora, Colorado, but was raised in a military family that took her to many different places. She moved to Idaho to attend school and has called Southeast Idaho her home for the past 12 years.
Brittaini is highly compassionate towards giving service to others and has a deep love for helping others find stability and happiness in their life. She believes everyone has potential to be their best self. She and her family enjoy going on traveling adventures and spending every moment they can with each other.
