Alice Manwaring, LCSW, joined the Grand Peaks Team as a mental health counselor in the spring of 2018. Prior to joining Grand Peaks, Alice provided a wide array of mental health services for area treatment facilities and state contractors. With experience in a variety of mental and behavioral health treatments, Alice is highly experienced in a myriad of mental health conditions and situations.
After receiving her Masters Degree in Social Work from Walla Walla University, Alice Manwaring passed the Idaho Licensure Exam in 2015 (LMSW).
However, she has been involved in the mental health field consistently since 2002 working with clients and providing PSR services. Alice has also worked in the criminal justice system for about four years total as well as in the Utah State Mental Hospital. In the fall of 2018 she completed the requirements to become an LCSW. With all of her experience, Alice now specializes in Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Strength Based, Person Centered, and other therapies that help deal with depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, divorce, bipolar, personality disorders, substance abuse, and life difficulties. She work with all people of all ages, and especially enjoys children and adolescents.
Alice says “working with people has been my life’s work. I believe in empowering and building up confidence in those who I work with.” Grand Peaks welcomes Alice’s experience to the Grand Peaks Behavioral Health Clinics offering mental and behavioral health counseling.
