Rhet has been in the field of counseling for over 16 years. He enjoys the opportunity to help people as they face the many challenges life can bring. He has experience working with youth, adults and couples. He uses a combination of CBT, solution focused, and faith based approach to help empower individuals to not only cope with problems but heal from them and live with more peace and hope. He also is trained in a trauma specific therapy called I.R.R.T (image rescripting and reprocessing therapy).
Rhet loves spending time with his family and is always up for an adventure, including hiking, mountain biking, power kiting, boating, camping, and four wheeling. He also loves staying healthy and fit by training for races and triathlons. Rhet also teaches marriage and family classes at BYU-I and enjoys working with the students to help them start out their marriages with the knowledge and understanding of what will help them create a strong loving family.
